10 Uncommonly Used Filipino Words

1. Word: Isalat

Definition: It is an action word that refers to the use or infliction of witchcraft, or a secret power to inflict pain and suffering to other people.

Sentence Example: Lumapit si Aliyah sa Isalat upang ipakulam sila Mina at Tanya.

2. Word: Pulot-gata

Definition: It is the traditional holiday taken by newlyweds to celebrate their marriage in intimacy and seclusion.

Sentence Example: Pagtapos nilang ikasal ay lumipad sila papuntang Greece para sa kanilang pulot-gata.


3.Word.Anukala

Example:Siya ang ating bagong Anukala

4.Word:Awanggan

meaning:pagkakaroon ng walang hanggan.

Example:mamahalin kita hanggang sa dulo ng Awanggan

5.Word:Bandahali

meaning:pangkalahatang namamahala sa mga lalaking katulong sa bahay

Example:Si Jmes ay isa sa mga

6.Word:Batalan

meaning:isang kwarto na ginawa na may hugasan at palikuran.

7.Word:Salipapaw

meaning:isang makinarya na mayroong pakpak.

8.Word:Sukgisan

meaning: isang bagay na panukat na ginagamit sa matematika.

meaning: mga siyensyang numero at mga opera.

When you’re ready to publish, give your post three to five tags that describe your blog’s focus — writing, photography, fiction, parenting, food, cars, movies, sports, whatever. These tags will help others who care about your topics find you in the Reader. Make sure one of the tags is “zerotohero,” so other new bloggers can find you, too.
